ATCCO assigned as the main contractor for the Business Park phase 1 expansion
Amman 26th April, 2019- King Hussein Business Park, the master developer for the King Hussein Business Park Development Zone signs an agreement with Arab Towers Contracting Co.(ATCCO) that was assigned as the main contractor to build and implement five new buildings adding a total of (40,000) sqm of new office space to the current Business Park. This comes under the first phase of the master expansion plan for the King Hussein Business Park Development Zone. The agreement was signed by the Eng Soud Soror, CEO of the King Hussein Business Park and Eng. Hisham Wadi; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arab Towers Contracting Co. (ATCCO).
The selection on contracting with ATCCO came after inviting 9 contractors to apply for the tender that was released last year. Whereby the selected company will start the contracting and construction works needed for the project to continue over a period of 22 months, starting this coming June. It is worth mentioning the Arab Towers Contracting Co. (ATCCO) is one of the biggest companies in its field in Jordan and is well known on its achievement of mega projects in the field of building construction, metal installations, concrete constructions, building bridges, intersections and tunnels, infrastructural projects, and renewable sources of energy projects.
Eng. Soud Soror, CEO of the King Hussein Business Park expressed his excitement to the expansion stating: “ We are looking forward to proceed in implementing the first phase of the master plan of expansion that came as an answer to the increased need for more office spaces by local and international companies on one hand, and as a reassurance from the business park to emphasize its role as the leading smart and scientific city, and a hub for creativity and innovation in Jordan and the region on another. The construction project tender was awarded to one of the biggest local contractor companies in the Kingdom in the field of contracting and construction, believing in the expertise and commitment of ATCCO in abiding to the highest standards of professionalism during the period of the project.”
Eng. Wadi; Chairman of the Board of Directors for Arab Towers contracting company (ATCCO) expressed his gratitude for the confidence that King Hussein Business Park is showing in their work and emphasized that the company will commit to complete the project using the highest standards and procedures during the contractual period.
In line with the agreement, The business park will be able to construct 5 new buildings to add further (40,000 )sqm of office space to the current business park, whereby Engicon had prepared the architectural designs for the new buildings, parking spaces, facilities, supporting services, and the project will be financed by Housing Bank. The buildings will play part in responding to the increased demands on office space and provide over 1500 job opportunity for the Jordanian youth.
The new buildings will follow a new updated architectural design that will go in hand with the current buildings’ design, with smart green system, and architectural details that will increase the efficiency of the building and are designed according to the best standards with international codes of infrastructure, construction designs, mechanical works, mechatronic designs, and communications and IT systems, in addition to building management and fire systems.
