King Hussein Business Park (KHBP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Philadelphia Parking, represented by ST Engineering, to develop, implement, and manage an integrated parking system. Equipped with electric vehicle charging services implemented by Clean Kinetics Jordan, the project is a central component of the new phase of KHBP’s strategic expansion plan.

Under the agreement, KHBP, Philadelphia Parking, and Clean Kinetics Jordan will construct a smart, multi-level parking building with a capacity of 3,500 spaces distributed across four operational zones. The system will serve KHBP employees, visitors, and guests through a smart operational infrastructure powered by state-of-the-art management technologies, including license plate recognition, digital ticketing, and QR code systems, ensuring seamless entry, parking, and exit.

Construction of the parking building is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026. It will incorporate solar energy infrastructure to support increased reliance on clean energy and enable future expansion of renewable solutions. This is a reflection of KHBP’s commitment to sustainable environmental operations and long-term development. The facility will also house electric vehicle charging stations, a café with panoramic views, and a variety of retail outlets.

Commenting on the agreement, Engineer Ammar Izziddin, Chief Executive Officer of King Hussein Business Park, said, “This project represents a practical step toward upgrading Business Park’s infrastructure and expanding the services offered, particularly those that enhance traffic flow and mobility. It aligns with our vision of providing a smart, efficient destination that improves the daily experience for visitors and strengthens King Hussein Business Park’s appeal to investors. Simultaneously, it supports operational processes within the premises through smart, environmentally compliant solutions. This will positively reflect on its growing status as a regional hub that combines business, innovation, and modern services, while enhancing operational efficiency, returns, and economic value.”

He added that the smart parking building is a response to the expansion and growth KHBP is experiencing, both the rising number of employees and the increasing volume of visitors. This growth is driven by new investment projects and the variety of recreational, cultural, service, and community facilities Business Park offers. He noted that the project will generate both direct and indirect economic and developmental impact, stimulating a wide range of sectors that deal with construction, operation, supply, retail, and modern technologies. It also lays the groundwork for launching more integrated projects in the coming period, leveraging the promising investment opportunities and competitive incentives available.

The smart parking project complements King Hussein Business Park’s broader urban expansion and digital transformation initiatives, including the provision of a modern real estate development model and the digitization and enhancement of services, reflecting the Business Park’s ability to grow and expand. KHBP recently announced several investment projects and launched a smart mobility platform designed to improve the internal transportation experience.
